God graciously pardoned David, but not the innocent child he bore with Bath-sheba…..That child had to suffer and die for his father's sins. WHY did the child have to suffer and die? To punish David? Seems like god kills children when it serves his purpose. You missed the part where god said he couldn't look bad in front of the heathens so the child must die. But thanks for telling this story in a way that leaves Bath-sheba blameless. Imagine being David, THE David from David and Goliath, and forgetting that god can SEE EVERYTHING YOU DO…. weird!
