8:30 … I saw that video, and that "sinister occult ritual" they are performing is actually the hokiest summer-camp frat-initiation style thing you ever saw. The "Moloch" idol was actually named "Care" (as in "worry" or "anxiety"), and the two voices over the loudspeakers were roleplaying an argument where the evil idol was threatening the audience with all their worries, and the other voice was defiantly refusing to be discouraged. The people doing the voices sounded amateurish and the language they were using had a juvenile, grade school, "Mr Rogers teaches positive thinking" feel to it. After spending minutes mocking the "Care" idol and declaring it has no power to make them depressed, they burn the paper-mache idol.
Michelle Wolf isn't funny. Boring.
