Kumbaya attitudes didn't get liberals anything in the 30 years prior to Trump. The GOP has lied, cheated, and stolen their way to power to astonishing success. Trump NEVER should have been anywhere NEAR the Presidency. This is a guy who is a racist, a liar, a cheat, a guy who has cheated on all of his wives, sometimes with porn stars. This is a guy who refuses to pay people after they've completed a job. A man who brags about his daughters tits on national television, and insults EVERYONE except Vladimir Putin. So liberals have become reactionary, for better or worse. The GOP has poisoned SCOTUS for decades and have done so by only having won the popular once this century. What we have here is a perfect example of Game Theory. If you play a game with someone, and they cheat, and you let them get away with it, then you have encouraged more of that cheating behavior. The only logical response is to take the fight where it brung ya.
