They already have something that takes carbon out of the air. Oxy, BP, and Chevron funds it (all petroleumoil companies). They then polymerize the carbon pellets to make plastic pellets. Mainly because it's more profitable, and also so it doesn't affect their main plastic business
How about mother nature will help with that like it has for 5 billion years. Humas aren't doing anything to the earth about this climate change bullshit. Its the coolest it has been for almost 80 years. Hey people pick up your history and read it then listen to stupid people thinking they know the problem.
Some species of algae are also able to capture CO2. Microalgae are generally recognized as the most promising solution for both bio-fuel production and industrial capture of emitted CO2 (as well as being a viable future food source). I think I'd rather go with that, instead of the "let's just build a gigantic air filter" idea.
