"Comparison is the thief of Joy." Lately I've been learning alot more then just one thing a day
> Just concentrate on getting better
I wish that were completely true in software dev. Unfortunately, in my profession, letting "fires" pop up and grow into big problems and then "putting out fires" is rewarded more than doing your job correctly and preventing "fires" in the first place… and working to a higher standard than many of my peers has cost me.
Nobody cares about smokey the bear for fire prevention, but everyone praises the firefighters.
Second death story has to be David Cassidy.
He probably meant so much wasted time, spiritually. You won’t see it until your faces with Death.I’ve had 7 NDE’s and life is Soo much more than money, fame, and lame distractions
I don't believe we have anything to fear, anything to worry about. I believe the feelings we have of attachments, whether that is to human things (people) or to things you can own (cars, houses etc) none of it matters. Even your feelings, I believe the feelings we have here are linked to us as humans and form part of the human condition. I believe when you die, the energy that is your soul stays, but the feelings, the worries, the feeling of "Wanting to spend more time with your family" that is somewhat natural, I think most of us want more of the good stuff, but know this….You did what you did at the time, to get by. You did what you needed to do. So don't threat.
