  1. The same spelling changes that give us Jude from lude and raven from laben also give us levvs and revvs from jebus. Though the use of /u/ instead of /i/ makes me curious if these were specifically eunuch priests that are being referred to here opposed to common levied soldiers etc.?
Plus the word lebus leads to kettle and cauldron and a Greek word of “deuter” meaning kettle as well. The synonym in Greek is “lébēs” and again this really says “Levi’s” but with etruscans making up the Roman flamen and Ravva/Rabbi Priest classes of documented Roman prior to empire, this probably refers to the priest class, whom were also the chefs of temple feeds and also chiefs of warfare etc. so I would bet this means and specifically refers to an old guard of priest-line of early Greek/Egyptian/Macedonian style priests whom were no longer in vogue according to the new style of governance that entered Israel along with the Samaritans and Joshua era conquests. If I was a betting man I’d also lean towards thinking Joshua as a rather Mongolian/Ossetian group of conquerors that happened at the fall of western Roman Empire or even at the usurpation of Roman republic by the Scythian/Ossetians and Persians that made up the Roman Empire era “Roman’s”. Great stuff.

  2. Nothing changes. They stole the land from the original inhabitants. They persecuted them for retaining their own beliefs. Then they ethnically cleansed them from the land and took it over.
