"Yah", "Yahweh", "Jehovah", "The LORD your god", "I AM", etc. are names the evil one gave HIMSELF, while IMITATING and IMPERSONATING Our Father, the true creator. 2 Corinthians 11:14 states, "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.". This is important to understand because the devil/satan/Leviathan/the dragon/the beast couldn't just FORCE the Israelites to worship him and obey his commandments and laws – he HAD to necessarily present himself as a loving, generous and righteous deity in order to fool them into entering an impossible-to-completely-adhere-to covenant with him. These seemingly "good" commandments and laws were accompanied by evil repercussions – curses, death, banishment, etc.. These wicked punishments for disobeying the jealous "god" of the O.T. are clearly red flags for those with eyes to see. Let me explain: Jesus says in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.”, and Hebrews 13 explains that Jesus is the SAME "yesterday, today and forever". This means that Our Father/Jesus has never been "double minded". He doesn't go back on his word or change his mind. Jesus' own words state that he has "not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them". REMEMBER – the THIEF comes only to steal, kill and destroy. Robbery (in any form), destruction and death originate and come from the evil forces present in our world. Death, according to 1 Corinthians 15:26, is the ENEMY of God (Our Father) and will be the last enemy to be destroyed. God does NOT kill. The enemy kills and threatens people with death. Jesus came to give us LIFE and life more abundantly. He healed the sick (all those being oppressed by the DEVIL – who has the power of death), raised the dead, provided, loved, and cared for people, never condemning them or punishing them like "Yahweh" did in the O.T.. Additionally, when ever Jesus said, "..you have heard it said (by Yah) an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth… BUT I SAY…" Jesus was completely contradicting and rebuking the words of the Imitator, the devil. Don't forget that Yahweh claimed ALL responsibility for death and destruction in the Old Testament.
God is LOVE. 1 John 1:5b says that He is light and in Him is NO darkness. When trying to rightly divide the Word, we should look at the actions being taken, no matter WHO they are directed at. If the action is EVIL, it comes from principalities, wicked powers, from the rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places. However, if the action is wholesome, beneficial, healing, loving and good, there's a good chance it originates with Our Father and his son, Jesus. Our Father is NOT the author of destruction or death in any form (plagues, sickness, torture, killing, etc.) AND HE NEVER HAS BEEN. In John 8:44
, Jesus says, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a MURDERER from the beginning, and abode NOT in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
Jesus came SPECIFICALLY to save the jews, because THEY were the people who had been deceived and misled for centuries by the one claiming to be God. When you put yourself back under the law, you are open to demonic attack. Galatians 5:1 says, "Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace."
Here is a wonderful, insightful, logical comparison of scripture that explains in far greater detail the premise I just described. Suspend judgement while you THOROUGHLY examine ALL the facts. Listen without jumping to conclusions. Follow along in your bible and reference Strong's. Pray for discernment. Finally learn how to rightly divide the word.
