I watched a YouTube video recently that discussed the possibility of ancient prehistoric creatures with advanced civilisation and technology. Cephalopods were mentioned because they don't fossilise very well, not having a skeleton like mammals and lizards and over millions of years evidence of undersea technology could have easily disappeared. Perhaps their intelligence and adaptability to blend into their surroundings is an evolutionary trait of ancient integrated bio technology.
The monkey people saved me from the kraken. 😆
Actually, we took an octopus and its familiars to space, when we came back down they couldn't survive. Reason being is because they evolved so quickly that they couldn't survive back to the climate. Look it up.
Thing is, their lifespan is very short. Meaning literally every generation has to start from scratch. And one very important thing. There are no signs that they have started to use any tools at all. That's what chimpanzees do. They're loners and don't live social.
