Honestly I believe it's definitely possible
Nowhere in any ancient literature is there a depiction of a pterodactyl. Conflating dragons with pterodactyls is a complete strawman in the conversation. Every ancient culture has a very clear depiction of a lizard-like creature with wings that spits fire. Cultures that science says are not connected. So science has to be wrong about one of those things. Either there were dragons or cultures were connected. It can't be both.
they recently found a dragon petrified in the usa the size of florida. Is it really that far fetched to believe they were capable of spitting fire? Bombardier beetle secretes two chemicals in a spray defense that combusts into fire.
Dragons are what we call dinosaurs, and man lived beside them as we were created in the same week.
I think in the past they found dinosaur fossil like trex and they thought it was dragon.
