Years later on Ramree Island, crocs were seen with tiny Jap flags painted on the side of their heads.
badass kid
The Japanese on ramree were also suffering tropical illness, vomiting, diarrhea, and many wounded who evacuated from the hospital ward. If it were not humans, we would think the Crocs were just cleaning up the sick and wounded of a prey species. Humans are just another predatory animal in the order of primates. Crocs eat Monkeys and other Primates, why not Homosapiens.
This is slightly disingenuous to all the extinct crocadillians that were fairly successful in a different ecosystem. Modern crocs survived because their lifestyles made them the most durable to ecological catastrophe, but they could well diversify again for all we know
It's not that ppl think a certain way about animal. It's that most of us have forgot we are just another type of animal, and we can be both predator and prey.
