You can tell Forest loves what he does. The passion he provides about all animals is uncanny
We need to manufacturer a species of plastic eating pigs that break down plastic into a substance we can use on a mass produced scale but that doesn’t return to the landfill for a long period of time. Then just drop those pigs in the plastic islands floating in the oceans
A study by Texas A & M found that if you want to sustain a steady population of pigs, you have to eliminate 80% of the population every year. Meaning that if there are 50 feral pigs on your 200 acre farm, you have to kill 40 of the original population that year. Every single sow can be responsible for up to 30 piglets a year. If half of those piglets are female, 7-15 of them will be sexually mature enough to have piglets of their own within that same year. It is an exponential population growth problem.
I love when Joe has Forrest Galante on. It’s always a damn good episode!!
