In a way and I know nobody will agree. But my opinion is Goldberg kind of saved wrestling.
I think there was a point in the 90s where wrestling was on a decline,
I think a Small part was the mysterious cancelling of British wrestling off network TV, late 80s. Because I think British wrestling was helping maintain the public eye, I mean helping promoting it. Because British wrestling was also popular in Europe.
But when Goldberg came on the scene he just took off, and the popularity of Goldberg I just think he borough wrestling to what it is now. I don't know what would have happened to wrestling if it wasn't for Goldberg. Despite what other wrestlers say about him they wouldn't be sat where they are if it wasn't for him.
Everyone else hates GOLDBERG,NOT SURE IF THEY DO IT FOR ENVY BUT BEAUTIFUL WORDS BRO 😉
Goldberg's a phony wrestler, but unlike CM Punk, Bill's a believable phony due to his strength and athleticism.
