Isaac was bound and taken to high ground. He was bound to act. He was bound to God and his thought.
Earlier God took Abraham out side of himself ie. Outside of bodily thought. He showed Abraham the stars. He showed him what he could not comprehend. He showed him creation. God is saying I will give you myself, my love. He then says go and sacrifice your son. God wanted to know if he would give up his love as God gave his love. We demand life gives us our needs but what about God's needs. Hence sacrifice. Sacrifice is giving God what he gives us. A father gives a child a gift and the child gives the gift back by the enjoyment shown with the gift. The gift is shared.
The 3rd commandment is to NOT misuse the Lord’s name, and His name is I AM! Is it a coincidence the Jewish people have produced the most prosperous and richest people throughout history (and more than any other nation) when their 3rd commandment refuses them to speak negative affirmations by using the Lord’s name in vain? Vain means having no success. They have a positive self image because they know whose image they were created to be a copy of!
Satan’s message called the fall or the lie is that God and man are different and separate but Christ’s message called the gospel or the truth is that God and man are alike and one. Who do you believe, satan or Christ? A double-minded person is unstable and you can’t serve two masters but if your eye 👁 be SINGLE, then your body is full of LIGHT! 🌞
