Poker is way more intense Than chess
From age 11-15 we had a really nice pool table in the basement and I got pretty good at it… Fast forward to college, our dorm had a crooked pool table (you had to run some sensitivity tests with ball bearings, but it was off) and I combined my skills with the advantages that particular table offered… So, I started hustling the rich kids… 5, 10, 20 dollar games… I'd throw the low games to win the big ones… but after a year I was ahead hundreds and hundreds of dollars (I played sober, they drank so winning $100 a weekend wasn't uncommon). One day, one of the guys found out about the table being crooked and took a fire axe to it (which was next to it on the wall)… and totally destroyed it.
Looking back, I'm pretty sure I could have smoked these fools even without working that NW corner pocket to death (which seemed to just suck the balls in no matter what you did). The guy should have shimmed the table and tried to win his money back rofl. Is what I would have done, oh well.

Old pool halls back in the day, Man you cant copy it now, The smell of the smoke and caulk just went to gather, budweisers lil bit of coke and some gambling did it.
