Keats is a national treasure.
Idk….Kevin Conroy. Il
Michael Keaton was the definitive Batman for one simple reason: all his character had to do was look at you, and it was over.
His Batman was 100% about “psychic intimidation” and the very presence of the character. He would psychologically defeat his foes, before physically decimating them…Keaton was so smart, that he told the writers to keep an absolute minimum to his dialogue, knowing intrinsically that the more Batman talked, the less interesting and intimidating he is…This is where Christian Bale’s version failed; he ranted in a kind of drunk voice.
Everything about Keatons version of Batman was the best to date. He was a natural fit for that role despite being less physically intimidating than the other batman's. You can see that intensity in his eyes yet kept composed throughout. Nobody is going to convince me that Keaton isn't the best depiction of Batman
Did the Michael Keaton Batman … well crap I forgot my question… that shiny vampire dude was the WORST. The 6 pound 8 ounce baby Jesus may be your Jesus but my Batman is Michael Keaton.
