I was off from school that day in New Jersey because I had to get my knee drain from a football injury. I was parked in front of the tv set and watched the whole thing developed. There was constant updates. Almost everything was televized!
Hear me out. Eisenhower was an Army General. He was President just before Kennedy. He was worried that Kennedy and his brother would turn the White House into the Play Boy Mansion. Eisenhower decoded to become a friend to Kennedy in hopes of explaining where the country was headed and hope that Kennedy would take his position of President more seriously. There is a photo of them together, I believe they were headed to Camp David. Eisenhower commissioned a writing of a report which basically changes the position of the federal government into practically nothing, which is really the way the 13 states originally wanted it- it was a government of and for the military. This goes against the Secret Societies who wanted to take over government that Kennedy spoke of. If you read Eisenhowers reports as well as the GSA Manual which basically states the federal government has no power off federal lands, you will see that the constitution takes on a new meaning.
