Bert and Tom love each other deeply, like brothers. You can tell these two have genuine respect and love for one another
I hate this, but because of some of the s*** I've been through as far as physical injuries I can see dad's side but I can also see that's kind of fucked up, so I'm right with Bert on the line of it's kind of bad parenting but in a way it's also teaching him to man up and yes I understand how toxic that phrase has become, I have too young daughters and my oldest is much like me in the sense that physical pain doesn't faze her like it would most people. My best example of this was her first or second birthday she got stung by a bee and swatted the beer away as if it was just an annoyance
Thanks for sharing Bert. Sharing experiences like this helps put life in perspective and I sincerely appreciate it.
