In the Old Testament, Moses’ act of killing an Egyptian was deemed a sin, leading to God’s decree that he would not enter the Promised Land. Conversely, the New Testament recounts Jesus’ crucifixion as an atonement for humanity’s sins. Jesus descended into hell, claimed authority over hell, death, and the grave, and asserted dominion on Earth. This act implies that sins have been nullified and allowed Jesus to retrieve Moses, causing discontent in the devil who believed God’s word to be unalterable. However, Jesus’ sacrifice took away the sins of all men, making mose's sin irrelevant.
