That's not entirely correct interpretation of the son sacrifice test of Abraham. Abraham grew up in a culture that sacrificed their first born sons (Caananite). God knew Abraham would obey because that's what civic leaders would have told him to do too. God was impressing on Abraham that GOD does NOT desire human sacrifice and if he MUST sacrifice something due to his societal brainwashing, let it be an animal not a human (and in later generations he would put an end to that too).
If this event really happened it’s not something to glorify! This called human sacrifice, sick and disgusting behaviour! Like I said you can’t cherry 🍒 pick the bible this book is a oversized comic book of fairytales that promotes cruelty!
