When i was around 5-6 years old i remember an old man riding his bicycle past our street (which had 5-6 kids running around daily) giving us candy almost every time we saw him, always being nice and polite, always telling us to stay aware of bad people. One day i saw my neighbors father storming outside and grabbing the old man by the neck telling him that he saw him touch his son and told him to never come by our street again. I remember my neighbor friend telling me all the old man did was pat him on the back when he was riding his own bike. Even today i still hear stories about that ''nasty'' old man that once came by, and im just so sad thinking he ended up being seen as one of those people he always warned us about as kids. He was around 70 or so back then and its been 20+ years so mabye he is not around anymore, i havent seen him since and i just want to thank him for always making us (the kids on the street) aware of people with bad intentions.
I was almost molested by an older male cousin. I was young enough to remember but not know what was going on until I was older. I was saved by my grandmother who I'm sure just felt something was wrong and her instinct saved me. I don't trust anyone to be around my kids especially family because they are the number 1 culprits. Save your kids from a tragedy.
