We actually do the exact same thing to wild animals: we sedate them, put a GPS collar on them and than just follow them to get information about their natural behavior and population. No mal intent whatsoever, just curiosity.
There are lots of High Strangeness in this world that can be explained but this incident is not one of them. To me it stands out as one of the few examples of true alien contact.
Travis Physically looks in great condition. Smooth skin ; full hair !. for late 60s; he's amazing !.
