This is the biggest bunch of BS I've ever heard , yeah maybe Chinese companies are mining in Mexico I'm not arguing this. What I'm arguing is that the uprising in Michoacan was not a product of Chinese mining. Children were kidnapped, murdered and cannibalized. Ask yourself if you're a parent and this happened to your child or a friend's child in your neighbourhood what would you do , probably the same thing that happened in Michoacan, an uprising of vengeance against these people who committed crimes against children. It's interesting af that this guy is repping the Mexican state government, when the autodefensas exposed that a lot of this type of behaviour was tied up in state government corruption. This guy is corrupt for surrree… Trying to pass off the fact that heinous crimes were committed against children as the fault of mining. Doesn't add up.

– cartels started fragmenting more, competing more w/ more violence, and growing more in scope and power general
– gov militarily sides with the most established, most organized cartel and fought against the weaker ones, picking sides, because they want to they want the most stable, and most organized criminal group to be the one to keep crime and violence "organized"with the hope that the crime syndicates would be integrated into the nations apparatus – like russia japan italy china having the crime organizations brought into the fold so that they can ultimately be used to further the interests of the nation in ways the legal side cannot do
-el chapo is definitely not the sole leader of the sinaloa cartel – it is a conglomerate/federation cartel made of many different groups – Now hes used by both the sinaloa cartel and the gov as a convenient figure head – Sinaloa cartel uses him so that they can hide its real leaders and misdirect others, and used by the gov to actually have something/one tangible to attack and make public show of.
-China has a lot of interest in mexico – china sides with and arms cartels groups in regions to help them illegally extract valuable natural resources from the country [ exact same play the west does in african to extract resources from the nations rich with valuable natural resources ]
You know this planet's pretty dysfunctional when Mexico has illegal immigrants (from China).
