The USA is a third world country in regards to Federal government corruption and efficiency. They don't want it to be quick and easy and efficient to process a citizenship request. Having 20 million illegals who are serfs providing cheap labor is profitable, and everything in the USA, everything, is rigged to maximize profits. The sooner people realize that the status quo is what we will always have, that the oligarchy and their puppets, the Ds and the Rs, will never allow reform. Things are set up exactly how they want it. Profitable wars, profitable private health insurance, profitable illegal immigrant workforce building developments, profitable drugs being given out by doctors who go to lavish conferences paid for by the drug companies, natural supplements and drugs that can't be patented are shunned (COVID recent example), and a public education system that is pumping out ignorant, compliant people.
