Leviticus 23:26—29 context speaks of the 10th day = the light 💡 season (( it doesn’t say evening)) ….start to humble your self on the evening prior to the next day
Verse 29 cut off if you work in this same DAY = Light 💡 Which is identified as the 10th DAY of the Day of Atonement
…so it doesn’t say your cut off starting at evening ….

I believe our Ruach given to us by the Most High has been redeemed aka set apart for everlasring life in the Everlasting Kingdom ! All Praise to Yah by the Atonement freely given by Yeshua Ha Maschiac 🙌 but currently our Ruachs are in Flesh and Most Likely Unclean Flesh, that is to Flesh that still transgresses at the Speed of thought and action… if i transgress at the Speed of Thought and Action, shouldn't my/our Repentance occur at similar velocity. i can only known for certainty that i have won the race when i hear The Master say welcome to my Fathers House and he lets me pass thru the Gate ? i ask this question in humility because the desires aka Transgressions of the Flesh still Afflict me…
Adam……a verse in context that speaks about the 7th day sabbath…to keep Holy the 6th at Sundown…???
Leviticus 23:4 Six days shall work be done but the Seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an Holy Convocation; ye shall do NO WORK therein: it is the Sabbath of YAHUAH in all your dwellings.
7th day is the Sabbath of rest nothing about the number 6 day or the 6th at sunset/evening or 6th night

Adam, bless you, I'm new to Torah but not to your channel. I thought for a long time that being a messianic jew was kind of an oxymoron, but now that I met a small home group where we do the blessings and readings and perform Jewish rituals from Torah the new testament has truly come to life for me and your views on our Torah portions are now very eye opening. I'm soon to buy my shofar, tzitzit and other stuff. Also our chazan is teaching us how to read and write Hebrew. It's amazing, praise HaShem.
"evening to evening ye shall keep your Sabbaths" It is plural because it is a perpetual command. There is not just 1 day of atonement but 1 each year forever. And it can not be kept even to even on the 10th if the day starts at evening on the 9th. Just sayn' so I can be "that guy" but I am saying it with respect and you may "do what thou wilt". (/sarc?)
