Adam I enjoy your Torah readings however certain doctrines put forth are worthy to comment on. Not to cause discord but 'food for thought' .Beginning with the simplicity in Yahshua when He stated: "… Are there not twelve hours in the day? " John 11:9
The term Evening is part of the Day. Evening (Dawn) and Evening (Dusk) are the parts of the DAY that are SEPARATION periods created to make a division in-between Night and Day. One part (evening/dawn) escorts the LIGHT "in", for the DAY to begin, and one part (evening/dusk) escorts the LIGHT "out," for the NIGHT to begin, and Evening is basically the divider In-Between Day and Night, that SEPARATES the Day from the Night. When the biblical texts say DAY, like in Sabbath Day, it means only the period of LIGHT, and Philo Judaeus of the early first century CE also explains this:
GENESIS 1:4-5 And Yah saw the Light, that it was good: and YAH SEPARATED (בְדֵּל) BETWEEN (בַּיִן) the Light and the Darkness. 5 And God called the Light DAY, and the Darkness he called NIGHT. And Evening and Morning was DAY One.
THE WORKS OF PHILO by C. D. Yonge: ON THE CREATION IX (35) But when Light came, and darkness retreated and yielded to it, the boundaries were set in the space between the two, namely Evening and Morning, then of necessity "the Measure of Time was Immediately Perfected," which also the Creator called "DAY," and He called it not "the first day," but "ONE DAY;" and is spoken of thus, on account of the single nature of the world perceptible only by the intellect, which has a single nature.

My Sabbaths as well as the appointed times begin at evening dawn and end at evening dusk unless otherwise stated. ( I usually keep to our Messiahs twelve hour day …6am – 6pm just to keep it 'simple' ) Shalom
Also.. YAHUSHA said in John 11:9 There are only 12 hours in a day = light💡
