Moses was supposed to speak to the rock only, and water would immediately gush out. But Moses ruined the miracle by striking the rock instead.
Somehow this God of Israel doesn’t sound like the Supreme Being. Sounds like a god of the Israelites only, which is alright. I guess every people have their own god and there isn’t a Supreme Being.
I saw this heading and said wait God did not tell him to hit the rock. He said speak to the rock. But he struck the rock out of anger.
