"Don't elect Democrats to run your city if you want to be safe. When I was mayor I told my cops the street is not a home and everyone they see gets taken to a shelter even if it's the same person every night. Aside from caring about your own citizens it's just basic common decency. As for rioters they tried it many times with me. Every brick got an arrest and the real instigators were removed. There is nothing noble about allowing riots. In fact it's the city's sworn job to stop it. It's why you pay taxes. Many Seattle and Minneapolis police stations were outright abandoned. If my guys did that they wouldn't have a job the next day. These ridiculous Democrat poIicies are friendly to criminaIs and unfriendly to you. These are the same places that let prisoners out early for COVID, arrested business owners for trying to reopen and then let rioters burn it down. It's shameful.
