I am a native Texan, that has never owned a firearm. Just not my "thing". I've fired off quite a few, all my friends have them. And I am strong supporter of our right to bear arms. If shit gets real, I can always borrow or buy a shotgun from one of my buddies. But I shouldn't have to do that. I will probably never purchase a gun, but I should absolutely be able to purchase one legally.
It's like I told a friend of mine from New Jersey. First of all, gun safety is like a religion down here. Show up at any gun range in Texas with a firearm you don't know how to operate. Everybody in the building will be lined up showing you how to use it safely. Second thing, if I am in line at 7/11, and there are three other people are in line. Chances are at least one of them is packing.
Since they started selling pink Glocks, sexual assaults on women are at an all time low. Rapist are a lot less likely to rape if there is a chance she's got a piece in her purse. Not today fucko! Lmao
