2 years sobriety and it is only by God’s glory that today I have no want for drugs or alcohol. When I learned that I was powerless to change and only God could do it for me, it was pure relief. Discipline and willpower were not my strong suits. Submission to Jesus has brought peace, light and purpose to a wandering life once dark and full of chaos.
This dude is a fucking treasure. His face literally lights up when he's talking about bringing basic living conditions to those guys. And also, brave as fuck to be so open about his personal issues. Respect.
