This peace with the crocs thing really isn't bs. Wild animals and the locals often form pacts on a mental level, not with pen and paper so to speak, so no, it's not a joke and hoax. My family lives in a jungle and i visit every year a couple times, some wild animals sit close to our food supply and we feed them every now and then. They don't eat us. Slowly you get used to eachother. It's like crocs not eating hippos, or leaving certain birds alone. You have to connect with them mentally. They must understand the humans are capable of killing them too.
