And to the flickering.. another word.. this also goes back to the account of Kepha.. if Kepha had not shifted his focus to the waves, he would not have sank. Focus on the teachings and the Words of our Messiah being taught and do not be so easily distracted. Let your focus be completely on Messiah.. this is something I have to work on daily as well.
Abba gave me a little tid bit for you Adam. While you were speaking of enjoying being on the water more than in it. The Ruach immediately brought to mind the account of Kepha.. while he walked on the water toward Messiah, he had great joy, but once he found himself in the water, great fear and doubt. Being ON the water, is serene.. and reminds us of the Shalom that we receive in Messiah.. being in the water is a constant struggle. You may be able to tread water.. but only for so long.. then you WILL drown.. the water then represents the world. And the only way to get OUT of the struggle to the place of peace you enjoy on top of the waters.. is Mashiach!! Praise be to Abba Yah for His Truth and the giving of His Son, Yahusha, our Great Shepherd!! Baruch ha’shem Yahuah! I hope you get to read this brother!
Regarding the verse from Chanok, and the return of His Sheep. Mashiach is the Great Shepherd foretold in Ezekiel. One of His primary missions, as Messiah himself stated, was to gather “the lost sheep of the House of Yisrael “. In Ezekiel, Yirmeyahu, YeshaYahu and in other places, it talks of the gathering of ALL of Yisrael, but goes far enough to make the distinction between the “house of Yahudah”, and the “House of Yisrael “. But you’ll notice in more than a few spots it also read “and their companions” or “those who would come with them”. This plays into the parable of the wedding feast.. firstly that He will gather or at least call to all of yahudah and Yisrael, but not all will hear.. then He will call to the nations, and fill those empty seats.. The Sheep are the 12 tribes scattered abroad, and those of the nations that will believe and answer the call.. but only those who truly repent and put on the garment of righteousness will be allowed to stay. As pointed out in the guest who did not have him wedding garment on. Shalom!
