Consider that in those ancient times, 10,000 would have been a huge army.
I think he means the ultimate force to defeat the most powerful of armies.
Just as Ezekiel did not have the adequate vocabulary to describe the things that he saw in our modern science/physics terms and points of views.
Did God already choose his elect.
I would be totally ok with peace and tranquility on earth, even if that translates to losing free will to a degree. Think about all the people who we've heard about being found after they were held captive or something similar, there are people RIGHT NOW, AS I TYPE whom are being forced into something and they'd rather be anywhere, ANYWHERE else.. Them, all those people who have been and are currently being held captive, tortured, abused in all senses one can be abused, no more of that happening? That would be great. So what if people act "near robotic" in their unrelenting goodness and desire for others to be happy? If no one was being hurt and no animals were being hurt, I would accept such a fate. I would happily and without hesitation accept such a fate… Heavenly Father, please help those in need and please have the downtrodden lifted from their chains… forgive us, O Father, please forgive us…
Sounds like although the book of Enoch has been banned, most of his writings where taken into the scribes who incorporated it into the bible while inscribing it as though from other sources. and modifying it as they saw fit through other biblical voices.
