Shalom shalom, who has practiced Leviticus 19:23-25 when you established your homestead??
Lev. 19:19 speaks of several forms of illicit mixing. It makes sense it is a warning not to repeat a previous abomination & could be in reference to what happened pre-flood in Gen. 6.
Gen. 6 itself only mentions the mixing that created the Nephilim & their children but in the Book of Jasher 4:18-19 it also mentions the mixing of animals as well as humans. All things on the Earth were corrupted enough to provoke Yahuah to use the flood. In other Apocrypha, are snippets referring to interbreeding (illicit mixing of simular species) & a basic of how that was done. It stands to reason they corrupted genetically all Yah's creations that they could!
Not surprising, mankind is doing that now with genetics, cloning, gmo's. They just did it without the lab, the old fashioned way.
