Paul was a Stout Pharisee who was taught and under the Guidance of one of the Leaders Gamaliel. Paul didn't believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God ? Saul before God changed his name to Paul was a Roman Citizen from Tarsus. And Saul was a devout Jew who was a man who was a stickler to the Law of Moses and came from the straightest Sect of the Pharisees. He held the clothes and witness the Death of Stephen a man of God who was filled with The Holy Ghost and they didn't like what Stephen was preaching so they took Stephen and stoned him. But before they stoned him. Stephen looked and he was in the Spirit and said Behold ! I see Jesus standing at God's Right Hand. And the Leaders of the Temple couldn't take or stand Stephens Revelation and they were cut to the Heart and then they stoned Stephen and put him to death. Other Christians had escaped and they went off into another Province. And Saul had orders from the Chief Priest to bring them back for them also to be put in jail or to be killed or have them to Deny the One named Jesus. And Saul went out with some other men that was with him. They were on the road to Damascus when Suddenly a Bright Light that was above the Brightness of the Sun was shining around Saul and the other men. And the Bright Light from The LORD knocked Saul down and he became blind. And Jesus talked with Paul and said unto him Saul , Saul , why do you Persecute me ? Then Saul said LORD who are You ? Then Jesus said unto Saul it is I that you are Persecuting. The other men who was with Saul they weren't blinded. But they heard like it was The Sound of Thunder. But Saul hear Jesus speak of an Audible voice , not the sound of Thunder. So Jesus was going to give Saul his commission to be an Apostle to the Gentiles , but Before that Jesus told Saul to get up and go into a city and it shall be told what you must do so the men that was with Saul led him into the city because he was blind. Then a disciple of Jesus Named Ananias had a vision from the LORD to go to Saul and to lay his hands on him so he can receive his sight. So Jesus told him that Saul was praying so Ananias went to Saul to lay his hands on him and for him to receive his sight. So The LORD was going to make Saul His chosen vessel unto me and to bear My Name before the Gentiles , and Kings , and the Children of Israel. For I will show him how Great things he must suffer for Name's Sake. And then Ananias put his hands on him that he may receive his sight and be filled with The Holy Ghost. Then Immediately there fell from Saul's eyes as it been like scales and he arose and was Baptized. So The LORD then changed Saul name to the name Paul. So in Essence , The LORD made Apostle Paul to take Stephen place. The same Paul who in ignorance thought he knew The Law of Moses when he was there agreeing with those that had Stephen stoned and Killed was the same Paul who came into the Knowledge of the Truth by Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul was going to be the same Stickler for Righteousness for The LORD as he was when he Thought that he knew the Law of Moses and he found out later that he in ignorance thought he knew the Law of Moses and he was one of the one's who had Stephen stoned and Killed. But The LORD forgave Paul of that wrong. So Paul was going to be more steadfast in The Truth as he was when he was ignorant of the Truth.
