Jimmy's going a little crazy. He's a progressive, sure, but he also panders to certain demographics just like everyone else. When he starts yelling point after point, I stop listening.

And what does the vast majority of the world think of when they think of Italian-Americans? The Mafia.
And what does the vast majority of the world think of when they think of Irish-Americans? The Irish Mob.
Like Mexicans into the USA now, those past immigrants were cheaper labour for big companies and corporations than Americans so they were brought on by corrupt politicians; then with them they brought crime and strife.
Nowadays those groups have assimilated and to a large extent only the positives of their cultures remain, however it can’t be forgotten that mass immigration caused The Mafia beyond any doubt.
Crime like that brought by immigrant groups is not common across most of the world. Look at the UK now where stabbings have become so much more common yet so often involve immigrants from majority Muslim nations.
