Totally awesome narration! The best I have ever listened to! The teaching about Moses striking the Rock once, and later only talking to it, is so important! And I know Moses understood it also, assured that he would be restored in Christ’s Millennial Kingdom! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua
When the people were in the desert they had left old ideas of our world into a place where they could let go of the past and look forward to the new thought of Gods truth. This was to be done gradually out of love. They were given instructions on how to achieve this. God gives a concept to them and as a groupe they discuss it and come to a conclusion. Another bit of truth is given and their minds journey through thought to learn. They camped before the tabernacle and then moved. The Ark would lead the way behind the pillar of God.
Sometimes you want an answer and it doesn't come. Its a drought of thought. You get frustrated at not achieving and you loose focus. God said strike the Rock and true life water will come for you to drink. They forced through their thought by accepting Gods water of life. God opened upto them. Once you are open you need to continue to focus. Its hard. The second time Moses forced the rock he attacked God. The shell off our world had already been pierced and so was hitting Christ. Moses also expected the people to get on with learning themselves. He neglected to focus God down through himself to Aaron and Aaron to the people. Joshua was fresh and was Moses apprentice. The choice was to stand and leave the slavery of mans fear or walk behind God to a higher awareness or run away.
We cannot run away from dictators. You cannot allow someone else to solve the problem without helping. No matter how small a part you play. We are one people in the one heart of Christ.
