  1. I too believe that when the Old Testament is referring to THE LORD, it is really the pre-incarnation of Jesus talking with them.
Moses saw The Lord face to face. That has to be Jesus, for God is said to be invisible. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. Colossians 1:15, Colossians 2:9.
Abraham saw the 3 visitors. Two were angels, the other one was The Lord.
In Daniel….4 were in the fiery furnace, one of them was said to be a Son of God. That has to be Jesus.
Joshua talked to the Lord once Moses was gone. That angel of the Lord must be Jesus based on the words used in the book of Joshua 3:7.
Jesus has been showing up helping people all through the Old Testament. Starting with Melchizedek. He was known as a King and a Priest. No other priest has claimed to be both King and Priest. Melchizedek was a King of Righteousness and a person without beginning or end. Who else is called these things? Only Jesus.
