I dont support child support. It incentivises having a kid with someone for a paycheck. It's also the govt enforcing societal ethics. Its govt insurance for women to sleep with any man even if they knew he was a good time guy and not a stable guy. A good person takes care of their kids. The Govt shouldn't be responsible for making people do the right thing outside of actual crimes. My dad was a single father, and most single fathers dont ask for child support. Half of people paying child support are paying for kids that arent even theirs.
And why is this still a thing?!
