The video is misleading. Moses was THE leader. Aaron was subordinate to Moses. Jude 11 warns the church of this type of rebellion. Why? According to protestants anyone can be a leader, start their own church and there is no one person in charge of Christendom like how Moses was in charge of the Israelites.
When the creator tries to apply his personal interpretations comparing the new testament and this passage he forgets that the Israelites were also a kingdom of priests just like Christians are. He forgot to tell his viewers of Exodus 19:6 either on purpose or through ignorance of the scriptures.
Amen! Never go against what God has appointed. Beautiful foreshadowing of Jesus when God raised the rod back to life showing Aarons divinity. Just as he would raise Jesus to appoint us as his children!

At 13:28 – It was NOT an earthquake. That is misleading and is one of a number of deliberate alterations, additions subtractions that ruin what would have been a good Bible-teaching video.
Moses clearly stated just before the event, that what would happen would either be a commonplace occurrence or "something totally new". Earthquakes are commonplace and are characterized by the earth-shaking over a wide area even as large as a city and beyond. Wherever an earthquake has occurred in the Bible, the Bible has specifically described it as an earthquake.
Your video would also be accurate if you did not skip verses 41 to 44: v41 On the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.” v42 Now it happened, when the congregation had gathered against Moses and Aaron, that they turned toward the tabernacle of meeting; and suddenly the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared. v43 Then Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of meeting.
44 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 45“Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.
Those Scriptures detail why the plague happened the following day, leading to Moses and Aaron having to make atonement for the whole congregation.
Throughout the Bible God warns against Adding to or Subtracting from what is written. The warning is carried into the Holy Bible's closing verses.
