  1. He picks the worst Hitchcock. Notorious is fantastic, Strangers on a Train. Rear Window is still pitch perfect — I showed it to my millennial nephew. He was blown away.

  2. "Hitchcock's hard to get through." I don't think that's true at all. Hitchcock was the director to first get me into "old" movies. They have a crazy energy to them that feels almost modern.

  3. when I binge watch a show that has consecutive poor episodes, it ends up being a couple of hours or boredom or disappointment that you're able to power through until it gets good again. When watching a show live, as it unfolds, 2,3,4 weeks of consecutive poor episodes is enough for me to lose interest.

  4. I love how these guys go talk about how things have changed but then in the same breath mention how they don't watch anything new. Like the only examples they give about movies are both like 50 years old 😂
