I did it once when I watched Friday Night Lights with Kyle Chandler. It’s a great show, but I’d never do something like that again. I just think you retain less info when you binge watch. I’d rather take the time to understand the show, if it’s something I really want to get into.
For me, yes. The way Netflix continues to do its business is just idiotic for people who are invested in a show, but can't watch the newest episodes because Netflix hasn't added that season yet. For me it's Better Call Saul, it pisses me off to no extent whenever I accidentally come across a Season 4 or 5 spoiler, and had absolutely no way of avoiding it without pirating the show or watching it as it airs, even more so when it is about Season 5, since Season 4 isn't even on Netflix yet.
And yet some things like Anne of Green Gables has been in print continuously for over a hundred years and is still being adapted for TV and Film. Some things are timeless while others are timely or of their time.
