When I was 12 years old, my mother let me take the train from 160 st Manhattan to 14 th St, to by myself a watch. I got on the wrong train missed a stop ended up in Brooklyn, got lost. Turned around got back home, never made it to 14th Street. I can tell you 12 stories of us roaming the streets of Manhattan and The Bronx in the 70s and 80s.
I grew up in the same world as Maher. It was heaven. Shit happened and then we moved on. The air was clean, the roads were not heavily trafficked and people were kind. Neighbors helped each other. I miss it like crazy.
Bill Maher: " I didn't try pot in high school." Wow, does that mean that I'm a bigger stoner than Bill Maher? I didn't expect that.

I somewhat agree w/this but weren't kids being abducted.
