We learn to earn a living in this life to pay for everything society forces us to need. Adam was put in the garden to tend to and eat the fruit. The fruit of thought. Adam excepted fruit from God. He ended up producing his own thought.
God has to work through our thought. He asks us not to attach to Earthly goods because they perish.
There are many generous people in life and most are not money rich. What they recieve they share.
God allows us to gain objects as lessons. We need a car for work. Ok. You spend on its fuel and maintenance. God allows us to understand things by realizing frivolous goods dont make us happy. Tools are useful.
The body needs food etc. The soul needs spiritual food. The true work is understanding God and ourselves within God. The Sabbath belongs to God. It is time reflecting God rather than Adams world. A time to rest in God. Pharoahs slaves worked hard for Pharaoh. God took them out of slavery to work for themselves, mankind and God. Deliver us from temptation and deliver us from evil.
