As a person, who has never been to USA, all I can say is that sounds like BS. I don't really care about the subject enough to educate myself thoroughly, so I can't really dispute anything either. But the stuff coming out of this woman's mouth just seems wrong. If there are jews anywhere in western Europe, that are hiding or afraid, then I am 90% sure, it has more to do with living in a bad neighborhood, where every decent person would feel uncomfortable. I don't live in western Europe, so I can't back my opinion up really, but I live in eastern Europe, which is said to be generally less tolerant of a place. And I can say that apart from a couple dark jokes, I have NEVER seen any antisemitic behavior against jews, where I live. To be honest, I'm pretty sure most people here (including me) couldn't even recognize a jew out of a crowd (without the traditional clothing) to save their life. Yeah, there are extremists and conspiracy theorists everywhere, but they don't represent the general views of societies and furthermore they aren't even taken seriously. So, all I can say is just like with some other topics that gather a lot of attention, I think people like her, who paint themselves as some all knowing martyrs, who are throwing themselves to defense of someone who doesn't really need it, do a lot more damage than good.
I see no anti-semitism in America.
Her book was written as a manipulation tactic to get back on the show knowing Joe couldn't say no without looking racist, given the books title.
