It’s not a good rule there’s little debate in that primarily because it isn’t universally applied everywhere. And all the hate on Joe here but during the actual fight he was right on point about it being illegal and knowing there had been recent rules updates and went sure if it had been changed wand wanted make sure he was accurate in explaining what it was. But as for the rule being the problem and needing changed the rule that applied in this fight was the simplest one was is essentially saying that if they’re close to the ground at all just don’t do it with almost anything considering anything other than the soles or the feet being illegal. And when the chances of kneeing somebody to the head has such a tiny chance of being legal where it has to be be timed at the precise moment as someone is rising from the ground maybe as a champion with such a large amount of money at stake such as back end points and such that you’d do a risk/benefit analysis. And you’d quickly deduce that what’s to gain with the knee compared to just how precise it needs to be timed to not be an illegal knee and the potential losses you may experience just isn’t a worthwhile risk balance and to just not even take the risk. And it cost him a ton of money because he immediately dropped from the champion $500K base and common back end participation to a $200K/$200K structure because he took an unneeded risk and leaving the results the same had he just finished out a decision likely missed at the least $100K assuming he didn’t receive any back end pay. So even if a rule may suck instead of toeing the line just avoid it entirely like most fighters seem to be able to do.

when dj got kneed as fuck did they talk about that i mean he was on his ass when he got kneed as fuck dj didnt act the way aljo did dj got knocked out clean and bounced back up seconds after for aljo you know what happened he was laying on matt. flipping, turning, sitting, talking, with dj he got kncoked out as fuck than was walking around after the fight like nothing happened, maybe this video was up before dj got knocked out
