The mental hoops you have to jump through to see the world through this lens is baffling
Egyptian universities have been teaching hebrew for the past 40yrs. As a matter of fact, its becoming trendy among Egyptian students as of late. I'm pretty sure her guy was arrested for something else, not saying he wasn't arrested unreasonably, the government does that quite often, but her claim is a tough sell. Furthermore, Israeli tourists are abundant in Egyptian beach resorts… THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF JEWISH TOURISTS IN EGYPT.
