My anthropology professor specializes in Native and Mesoamerican culture. One of the things he drove home was that painting all of the Native Americans with one brush is bullshit.
There were more language families (not just languages or dialects—language families) in California than there are in all of Europe.
And some tribes would rival the most brutal cultures on earth. Some held their hands over a baby’s mouth and nose to shut them up. They’ve found entire herds of bison run over a cliff, 10,000 buffalo and mostly wasted to rot.
The most racist thing I often hear about Native Americans is when people generalize and lump them all together like the Great Lakes region has the same culture as the Pacific Northwest.

I don't like Bari Weiss but she's right on this, Trump would've called Warren Pocahontas regardless. By going through the 23 and Me she solidified his argument and base. Dumb af, all of this political correctness and infighting is why the Democrats can't beat Trump.
