Continuing our study of the book of Genesis and related texts. This time we read from Genesis 7 and 8 and then from the Targums of the same passages and also from Jasher 6, all describing the Flood of Noah.

Rob mentioned that he believed all animals on the ark to some extent were genetically corrupted. This cannot be true. If man if genetically corrupted he CANNOT BE CLEAN. That is why God told us Noah was pure. Not pure from sin, for all man except Yahushua has sinned. Noah was pure genetically, making him clean. God said the animals that were clean, which by definition means they CANNOT BE CORRUPTED, were to enter in pairs of seven.
Maybe this is the difference between clean and unclean food. One, the clean, God knew would remain genetically pure, while the unclean ment they were genetically impure or had the ability to become genetically pure eventually.
Remember, words have meaning, especially if they are coming from God. When God says the animals which were clean were CLEAN, that means they could NOT be corrupted genetically. Had they been corrupted, it would be impossible to label them clean.
If I change my genetics to part pig, i cannot ever be labeled clean in Gods meeting place. This is why the giants are eternally condemned, they can NEVER become clean.
Speaking on the subject of continual growth for the giants over 500 years, many believe the giants were of a reptilian race. Fun fact on reptiles, they are the only creatures that NEVER stop growing. Of course it's a small growth, but they never truly stop growing. In a pre flood world where scientist have discovered through studying frozen ice and frozen amber that contain trapped oxygen bubbles from pre flood time periods, the oxygen content pre flood was way higher, measuring at at least 33-40% compared to todays oxygen level of 21%. Oxygen is what plays a major role in growth. So a reptile pre flood, with almost double the amount of oxygen, would allow much greater growth. This is why we see dragon fly fossils pre flood where dragon flies have 3 foot wingspans. When studying their genetic makeup, they have the same Gene's as modern day dragon flies, so science seems to think it was mainly oxygen levels that caused their humongous pre flood growth.
