We are lucky because we read the Bible and judge the characters from an invironment in which we do not have to make such decisions.
Judas is interesting and should be looked at closely.
Judas was a zealot and wanted to free Isreal from the Romans. Understable. He thought Jesus was the Messiah and would free them from the gentiles. Money was given to Jesus from wealthy people to aid his mission. Giving money to the poor helped boost their popularity. Jesus was not of this way but surrounded himself with all of the human traites of mankind.
We all judge from our perspective. We in our reality know very little about Gods reality but happily pick up a stone to throw at someone because someone said it was the right thing to do.
Judas was angry and felt let down because Jesus did not fulfil his perception of Christ.
Yet as we judge Judas why did the people not step in and say no! Stop!
Because we are sheep that follow good or evil depending on our perception and circumstances.
Balaam used his knowledge of God. He knew how to use energy and people. The body does what it does to live. We order our bodies to act for us. The body has desires which we allow because satifying a desire is pleasant. It is our minds transport. Like the donkey it carries our burden.
This both as individual and as a group and as the collective of mankind both past present and future. The body is a slave of man or a servant of God. In extremes the body is just a body following lower instincts. Moses freed the people from slavery by being a focus of God. Because Jesus Christ became the new focus and surrounds this world with his love which we can allow in via the soul, it means we can all choose to invite him into our bodies and mind together as a collective on Earth. We have to invite him in and allow him to work through us. He knows that like the desciples we are all different parts of mans ego which can work together to end the world we create for a better one. We choose. The second comming is similar to being reborn again but as a collective on Earth. This means we cannot be lazy and just say I BELIEVE. It means Being. Balaam said what ever happens God will overcome mans sin even by using sin to defeat sin.
