When you read, understand and start walking the words Jesus spoke out, that's called sanctification.
How many times have you ever been taught about sanctification?
Jesus describes the importance of sanctification in 2 Thess 2:13 …Its through sanctification we obtain salvation!
How does Jesus explain we are to get sanctified?
John 15:3 …""" you are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.""""
He's not talking of salvation he's talking about sanctification!
.. I think Jesus is right but what does
He mean?
Alot of people forget when reading the bible, to use Jesus as the standard, when everything needs to line up with what He said!
We learn in James 2:19 that even the demons believe. But they aren't saved because they are not sanctified. They don't listen to His words!
How do we become sanctified?
By believing His word is truth!
HIS word is first, not the apostles, not Paul and not your pastor or priest … HIS!
We need to read the words of our Messiah and use THEM as the standard.
In that remember Jesus also said: Do """"ALL""""" that Moses said. Matthew 23:1-3
In John 5:47 Jesus says "But if you dont believe in Moses writings, how will you believe in His!
In Luke 16:31 "" If they dont listen to Moses & the prophets, they won't listen if someone rises from the dead""
Gee I wonder do you who rose from the dead that He was talking about?
It comes down to this; if you dont accept Moses writings, or the prophets, you won't accept what Jesus says.
Jesus ""never contradicted the Father therefore He never contradicted what Moses wrote.
Jesus didn't start a new religion. If He did, the pharisees would've crucified Him for that!
Remember they found no fault in Him!!!
That means when they studied the writings of Moses there wasn't any contradiction with what He said and what the Father had Moses write down.
He didn't teach a new religion He came to show us "The Way" to walk out the old one.
Don't let Jesus say to you "" Depart from me you who practice lawlessness""
Instead believe His words """ If you love me keep my commandments""""
His commands are exactly the fathers commands.
These very commands that Moses wrote!

I have fallen short of Your glory, God, and the sin I've done, and the troubles I have caused, have filled me with regret;
I have felt so lost, so in the dark, and irredeemable that, all of my wrongs and hurts that I've caused–I don't know why You'd ever forgive and forget;
But, Your ways are not my ways, and my thoughts cannot even imagine Your thoughts, and understand the divinity and perfection that, of my life–is a part of Your perfect plan;
You give Your forgiveness and mercy, when I genuinely, with a contrite heart, repent and turn away from the sin I have lived in and been a part of, put off the old me and walk in Your ways–You create in me new life, and I, am no longer damned;
You love me so much that, You made, and were, a Way for me to be forgiven and redeemed;
Though I am a work in progress, I am a work in progress that serves and loves, a forgiving and merciful, mighty and holy–King, of all kings.
Thank, You, for forgiveness and, seeing what I don't, yet, see;
Thank, You, for loving me so much that You'd pay my price, and, for never giving up–on me.
